FAQs
Who performs the assessment?
Our team of master-level therapists, rigorously certified in ADHD assessments, administers and diagnoses using supporting data.
Will my insurance cover the assessment?
If we’re in-network with your insurance, most of the cost is covered, depending on your deductible, co-pay, etc. An administrative fee of $450 covers scoring, detailed reporting, and tools. HSA/FSA cards are accepted for this fee.
What if Monarch is out of network?
You can pay out of pocket ($1,100 total, including the $450 administrative fee). HSA/FSA cards are accepted for payment.
Can I complete all assessments at once?
Yes, but insurance only allows claims for one hour at a time. Paying out of pocket allows for a faster timeline, typically six weeks from start to finish.
What does the process look like?
- Initial intake session to review mental health history and symptoms.
- Digital assessments completed at home.
- In-office assessments over 1–4 sessions, depending on age and needs.
- Data interpretation and report compilation (1–3 weeks).
- Feedback session to discuss results and recommendations.
What do I receive at the end?
A compiled report including data points, clinical observations, diagnosis (if applicable), and recommendations for therapy, accommodations, and support.
Can the results be used for medication or accommodations?
While our assessments and diagnoses meet professional standards, acceptance depends on individual entities (schools, insurance, doctors, etc.).
Can I get a refund if my report isn’t accepted?
Unfortunately, no. The assessment process involves significant time and resources.
